Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all construction heavy equipment and machinery in the warehouse.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish inventory as need
Shipping and Receiving:
Coordinate the shipping and receiving of construction equipment parts and machinery.
Schedule deliveries and pickups with carriers and suppliers.
Ensure that all shipments are properly labeled, documented, and tracked.
Warehouse Operations:
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including loading and unloading equipment, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Implement efficient warehouse layout and storage techniques to maximize space utilization.
Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to fulfill equipment orders and meet customer demands.
Communicate with clients and project managers to schedule equipment deliveries and address any logistical issues or concerns.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures related to the handling and storage of construction heavy equipment.
Implement and enforce proper safety protocols for warehouse staff and equipment operators.
Skillsets
Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
